The Committee on Education of the Ohio Methodist Episcopal Conference reported to the 1850 Conference that the apportionment amounts decided upon at the 1848 Conference (held at Newark) to pay off the indebtedness of OWU were not successfully collected. The Presiding Elders were asked to urge their preachers to collect what was still owed. |
